FLEXX BH Airflow Setup

Proper airflow is critical for optimal comfort as it avoids common circulation issues such as inconsistent temperatures, cold drafts, and humidity throughout the home. Irregular airflow can also lead to frequent system errors, shortened lifespan of equipment, and warranty callbacks due to the HVAC system getting overworked.

Dip Switch Settings

Understand how to properly adjust the dip switch settings on a GREE FLEXX central air system to provide the highest level of comfort and keep the system functioning optimally.

  1. Any changes to dip switch settings must be done while power is off.
  2. Blower motor will NOT operate if dip switch configuration does not meet what is shown below for each setting.
  3. See the Fan Performance section below for details of Static Pressure and CFM.

Installing a FLEXX System: Fan Speed

Learn how to properly setup a FLEXX system by measuring static and CFM along with selecting the correct fan speed.

How to Read the Static/CFM Chart:

On the CFM chart, you can match what the installation requires with your static & CFM readings, and adjust your fan speed accordingly. Just find your level of static pressure at the top of the chart, your fan speed on the left-most column of the chart, and line up where they meet to determine your optimal CFM per ton. For example, if you have .3 static at Speed 4 on your CFM chart, you have around 350-400 CFM per ton (1160 * .3).
